Metal Mouth Message Board

Hi, I am currently 24 year old. My mouth and teeth mildly protrudes, looks like Bi-max protrusion, especially evident from the side. I also have full lips as well. I am planning to consult with an orthodontist about having some teeth extracted to pull both upper and lower teeth back with braces. Will I get a 'flatter profile' after? In other words, will the braces fix my mouth protrusion? And will my lips look smaller after my teeth are pulled back? Any insight is appreciated; thank you in advance. Your best bet would be to ask the orthodontist about your profile. If they aren't very informative you should probably get another opinion. A good orthodontist will give you all the details and it will help you make an informed decision about what you want and how to achieve it
