Invisalign overcorrection / Vivera retainer question

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the answer to the following:

If your Invisalign treatment was 30 trays long and the final 3 trays (labelled "overcorrection") were for closing any remaining small gaps from interproximal reduction earlier in the treatment, would your Vivera retainer be based on: A) the final overcorrection tray (number 30), or B) the final tray before overcorrection (number 27)?

If the answer is B, does this mean you would wear the 3 overcorrection trays in reverse before starting with the Vivera retainer?

This would be when no refinements were necessary.

Thanks.

The Vivera can be based off any stage chosen by your doctor whether it be your last aligner, an overcorrection aligner, or any other aligner from your treatment. It can also be created from a new impression or scan of your teeth when treatment is completed. Good luck!

My Vivera retainer was based on my last tray (with the over-correction).
