Which one is better – invisalign braces or metal braces?

Hi there, My DD had metal braces when she was 14 years old but she removed it earlier without completing the treatment. Now she is 19 years old and have noticed small gap between her teeth and they are little protruded too. I told her to get invisalign invisible braces from Thornhill Smile Centre. I have made an appointment with the Dr. Hagi for next week. They told me that they need the bite impression of her teeth. She is really worried about putting braces again. I have heard after putting invisalign braces also there is a chance of teeth protruding after some years. Is that true? Which one is better – invisalign braces or metal braces?
