Invisalign G5 is the latest generation of Invisalign that has been designed to help improve the predictability of deep bite treatments. For those of you who are interested, you can read more about it here:

Also exciting is that our office has also been selected in the first roll out of ClinCheck Pro. This new program will allow doctors to move teeth in the ClinCheck in 3-D. Align continues to understand that the movement of teeth is determined by the doctor, and this tool is one other way of putting the control with the orthodontist, not with Align Technicians. It becomes available on February 24th, 2014. I will post in a separate thread when I have more information.

Very exciting! I've got some of the issues that the G5 is meant to address. I'm already in Invisalign, so I guess this won't help me much, but good to know that if I need refinements (I'm already assuming I will!) this will be the new technology my ortho can use!

This is actually why I was suddenly a candidate when I haven't been before. Just started treatment today and have the little "bite turbo" things on the back of my top aligner but based on what I've read here about bite plates and other treatments for deep bites it's a breeze in comparison.
