Any one had a gum graft in the middle of treatment

Did any of you need a gum graft in the middle of invisalign treatment? Did you have to leave the trays out for a few weeks? If so, likely your trays won’t fit by the time the graft is healed?
I have one spot where the root is nearly poking through the gum and my ortho had to put the treatment on hold.
