Invisalign with implants?

Has anyone had invisalign when they already have any type of restorations in their mouth?

I have two implants and a bridge. :( I would have gotten an implant instead of the bridge, but my dentist was an idiot who led me down the wrong path. I have a lot of problems with the implant crowns he did and I'm going back to the new orthodontist I have started seeing to talk t him about these crowns plus invisalign.

I have a small open bite and I really want it corrected. I've read somewhere that invisalign can be a good choice for correcting small open bites. Does anyone have experience with this? I would really love to hear from you if so!

With any kind of orthodontic treatment, whether it be Invisalign or fixed braces, it is not possible to move dental implants. There can be movement of the other teeth, but implants are integrated into the bone and anchored so that they cannot be mobilized.

The ability to have orthodontic treatment with implants is going to depend on the treatment plan and location of the implants. Only a consultation regarding your personal situation can shed light on what will work for you. Good luck!
