Skipping one set of tray as per ortho

#1 Post by 33333 »

Hi,

I was supposed to start one of my over correction trays (the ones with the + sign) tonight, but both upper and lower did not fit. I could not even force them in. They looked obviously smaller than the trays prior and after. Both my ortho and I agreed that they didn’t look right. So my ortho asked me to skip this set and proceed with the next set which I will need to wear for 6 weeks.

It took me some effort to put this new set in. So far there's no discomfort.

Did this happen to you? I would think it should be safe to do since they suggested me to but I would like to get some assurance.

Thanks

I would maybe have your othodontist call the company and make sure your tray wasn't made in error..b/c if it was maybe your other ones could be faulty as well even if they fit
