Fun with today's app..

#1 Post by avl »

got my 6 speed bumps. no biggie, but you really can tell they are there..they make a noticeable ' bump ' in the tray that i can see. oh well. its not that bad. the fun part has to do with a tooth up front that was root canaled long ago. its had some spotty bleeding, once kinda bad, and there is concern that all the movement its gonna go through MAY damage the " root " of the tooth and MAYBE break it up there or do some other damage..its wait and see at this point. i wonder, if it does get damaged and i have to get it replaced, will that be covered under my current treatment or is it an out of pocket extra? anyone know?

btw it was funny, i had to take the bottom tray out for her. it was just waaay easier for me to do it.

Hey there- sorry to hear about your visibilities!

While your ortho's policy may be different, my ortho has added a few unexpected costs to my final treatment cost, but at a discounted price. I am paying $5000 total for the treatment over two years, and any difference will be dealt with at the end ( whether I pay for a few more months, or if he owes me any refund ( doubtful, huh? ;) ) ).

However I have asked for a box of whitening tubes, and that I will pay for when I receive them ( next visit ).

thanks....seems to be the same old story..i see them but ive had to point them out to people so go figure.

im still waiting in the money question- they were out of the office friday. ive got a feeling that it would be out of pocket. i dunno...in my opinion, if it needs to be replaced due to the treatment, they should replace it.
