Braces then invisalign anyone??

I am looking into braces at age 30 and dred it completely. The first time round caused me so much emotional trauma that I avoided dentists for years (sensitive teens!!!). A consult suggested that for my vanity I can start with traditional braces and get them off sooner than normal and finish up with invisalign. Has anyone else done this? Does it work as well as the reverse situation?[/b]
