Who has gotten a redo with Invisalign?
As is the case with many of you, my dentist said that I'd get a free redo with Invisalign. I thought I'd be able to get them separately since my uppers were only 10 trays and my lowers are 24. I'm done with my uppers and of course they're not perfect straight though they improved.. but my dent said that I have to wait til the lowers are finished to get them both remolded and in together. is that the case with you guys who did go through that process? because im getting annoyed of the whole eating process... so i just want to be done with my uppers and i kinda want to switch to traditional braces on my lowers. anyway, let me know your experiences!! thanxx

Hmmm, that's a tough call actually...
First of all, depends on your time expectations. When it comes to teeth, you knew from the very start that you were gonna need lots of time. Now, being annoyed with it should not make you change your treatment, but if you really MUST speed up the process due to time concerns, then I say ditch the Invisalign and get the traditional braces on. At least, some work has been done with the Invisaligns and the braces process should take less time.
If you got time, like me for example (I'm only 19 and I can afford a couple years in this), I say you just forget about being annoyed because no pain no gain right (?), and stay with the Invisaligns until the very end. You should only have 14 trays left, that's half a year until October, then ask for the free redo. Give or take 12 weeks 'till u get them back, the redo should be yours by January.
Give it a year, if still not satisfied, then get braces. By that time, alot of work will have been done so the braces won't take alot of time or money because the case won't be as complex as it originally was.
Depends on your time, again.
Personally, since I got time to spend, I would go with the long version, wait-redo-braces, because I figure by the end of all this drama and all that orthodontic treatment, my teeth will be super celebrity status!!
