jaw tingling and numb feeling

Hi,
Just got my first Invisalign trays last week and have gone through all the "teething problems" like everyone else here. Thanks to all the information on this website, I have been quite well prepared. However, today I noticed that my left jaw joint feels a little tingly and my ear feels tingly too. I have a bad overbite and used to grind my left jaw a lot. Now since I got the Invisaligns I haven't been able to grind my teeth at all. (which is a good thing, I'm sure.) Has anyone else experienced the same thing with their jaw joints? Is it because the aligners are also attemtping to slowly fix my bite?
Thanks in advance.

You know, I get that feeling too. I never thought much about it, because it didnt get to the point of uncomfortable. My ear is sensitive. I dont know what that is caused from. If you find out, let me know. Im curious. I see my ortho this weekend, so if I remember, I will bring it up to him.

thanks for the reply. i called my ortho about it and his assistant told me it is a normal thing for the jaw muscle to feel a bit sore.. mine doesnt feel sore, it was feeling tingly and I told her that.. she said unless there is a clicking/popping of the jaw, I have nothing to worry about. but please let me know what your ortho says as well.
thanks again.
