Invisalign and crowding/high up teeth!!!

I have crowding and I need to bring down my teeth....can invasilign do this? I have seen other people who have had the invisalign bring down their teeth, but my Mom won't let me go to an invisalign ortho because she thinks they can't bring teeth down....can they? help!
