I spoke with my orthodontist today and provided photographs showing how the aligners did not fit correctly on my teeth. He agreed to refund me the fee however he made this statement in an email and I am wondering what it means:
"We will draw up a release form, you return your aligners, we will remove the clear attachments and we will give you a cheque.
Compromise treatment approaches when overlooking the basics, rarely produce the results or the stability expected."
He knows I followed all the rules given to me about wearing them ( 23/24 hours per day, no eating, drinking with them in) so the comment about overlooking the basics doesn't make sense. And the stability comment concerns me. Is he saying my teeth will not be stable now? Can anyone help me understand this comment please?
what does this mean?
