Blood in my trays

#1 Post by Brides »

Hi,

I'm on my 9th tray and ever since I had a recent teeth cleaning I have been waking up with blood sitting my in trays on my two teeth next to my front teeth.

Perhaps it was a coincidence that it started happening after my last teeth clean.

Any ideas what would be the cause? I am off to the dentist within the next week so I will ask then. has this happened to anyone else?

Did your dentist or Hygienist nick your gums when you had the cleaning? That happened my last cleaning, this was before I started invisalign and I didn;t realize it happened at the time because I find that when they are cleaning it always feels like they are touching the gums and it feels weird. Then I got him and went to look at my teeth all sparkly clean and saw blood on my tooth. It went away after that day though.

If you floss prior to putting your trays in at night/ morning, this may casue blood on the tray

i had it too- kinda bad for a while..the dentist did xrays and stuff because i thought it was coming from a crown that was moving- they never found out what was causing it..like i said- i thought it was from moving crowns.
