I think your teeth are gorgeous the way they are, but if they're causing you problems you should fix it. Just watch out--if they need to do surgery on your jaw it'll run you about $30,000, and thats before insurance helps. My jaw sits back far and they suggested I have it surgically moved forward, but I opted out.

thanks kerensa! ive been to 4 orthodontists so far and none of them have recommended surgery so im crossing my fingers. im only 18. im hoping braces will fix the problem

Hi, Seems like we will be starting at about the same time. I also decided to go the same route you are going and was quoted the same price. I was accepted as a patient about 2 weeks ago and today I am going for my molds and x-rays.
I am also in college but I am a few years older. It will be nice to follow your journey
