Dental School HELP!

hey everyone, I’m planning to do jaw surgery to correct my class III underbite and I need a lefort I, only to move my upper jaw forward.
Cost is a BIG factor because I’ll be the one paying for everything out of pocket and I have no insurance. Along with surgery, I recently found out how cheap braces at my local dental school cost which was $3400 total.
Unfortunately my dental school oral surgery department won’t be taking any new patients until 2 more months because of the pandemic, so I won’t be able to determine the cost yet.
I wanted to know anyone who has received jaw surgery at a dental school, how much was the cost estimated ? hospital + surgery?
