SARPE recovery (time off from work)
Basically wondering about how much time you took off of work for this. I have a relatively physical job in that I am on my feet all day and lifting up to 50 lbs... Worried about this
Re: SARPE recovery (time off from work)
3-4 weeks +
It wasn't pain or that sort of stuff; it was rapid weight loss (from not being able to get enough calories in) and a restricted diet. I'm a bigger guy and lost 45ish pounds in 3 weeks. Felt completely weak for a long time after that. Lifting heavy objects from the ground might be frowned upon by your surgeon that close to your surgery date.

Round 3 (lifetime) Damon stainless applied 3/16/20 (after 4 weeks attempting invisalign)
Upper ceramics 5/21/14, Lower stainless 5/28/14
Double jaw surgery was 6/18/15. Estimated time Jan 2016; still on at my 2 year anniversary...
Braces removed 7/20/18; upper and lower Hawley and Essix retainers with bonded lower too.
I'm emphatically against extraction orthodontics!
