UHC Coverage Jaw Surgery

Hi all, I have been preparing for the last few months for my upcoming double jaw surgery (lefort I one piece and BSSO) and unfortunately got some terrible news today that my insurance company has denied all coverage for this procedure.. My surgeon is adamant that the surgery is 100% medically necessary and that I qualify for the key requirements (>10mm overjet and functional issues with eating). I was wondering if anyone had similar issues with getting approval from UHC? I am completely gutted at the moment and really don't know what to do next. The surgery was schedule for next week so it looks like it will be very difficult to get any resolution to this by then. Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks!
