Severe TMJ pain 3 months post-op

Hi everyone,

I had double jaw surgery to correct an overbite and sleep apnea 3 months ago. About a week ago, I noticed I was getting pain in my right jaw joint. It would usually be when I woke up, and then it would go away after a little a bit. That kept getting progressively worse and now today I woke up with severe pain in my right jaw joint and its been like that all day. My range of motion in my jaw has now been cut in half from what it was just a few days ago, and its excruciatingly painful to eat anything. Has this happened to anyone and is it likely to be temporary? I'm concerned because this is just starting 3 months post-op. I've never had TMJ pain before.
