Nearly full feeling after double jaw surgery

Has anyone else experienced limited numbness after getting double jaw surgery? I had a septoplasty, 2-piece lefort 1 and bsso 18 days ago and could almost feel everything upon waking up from surgery (not fun). The only areas where I am lacking sensation are my upper gums, a small area around my right nostril, and part of the roof of my mouth. I certainly consider myself lucky since I can feel my lips and face, but that first week was a doozy with the pain.
