Just wondering if the antibiotic prescribed after surgery cover MRSA. My girlfriend works with patients that have MRSA and there is a risk she has become colonised by MRSA which she then could pass on to me. From my understanding, the MSRA bacteria reside within the nostrils which is close to where the surgery site is for a lefort 1 -- which is why I'm concerned. I'm not sure if this is a huge risk or a big deal so if anyone that has some knowledge regarding this I would be appreciated if you could inform me.
