Hey!
I had double jaw surgery on 10-12-17. At this point im wondering if I should avoid suction in my mouth? e.g Sucking a thick milkshake through a straw. Anyone have any experience with this?

I would not worry about doing any damage using your own strength - your own senses would prevent yourself from doing any damage long before it occurred. Be more careful with external forces - no contact sports or any activities which could cause trauma to your jaw. If your gums are healing as expected then you will be fine with soft foods by now.

Email your surgeon but you should be at full strength after 3 months both the bone and the gums.
