Single tooth sensitivity after jaw surgery

My front tooth is sensitive when I touch it with the tip of my tongue (I’m 4 weeks post op) and this is a recent issue.

Should I bring this up with my surgeon? I haven’t had any tooth sensitivity prior to jaw surgery. I’m skeptical that it would be a cavity since I go for cleanings every 3 months and generally take good care of my teeth.
