Loose Teeth after surgery?

I was in a splint for about 5 weeks. During that time, if I bit down or tensed my teeth, one tooth felt a little more pressure then others, as if it was loose. Fast forward to 3 months post-op, I have at least 4 loose teeth. All are on my bottom jaw. During my surgery, my maxillary artery was cut and repaired. I had my follow-up appointment the other day and surgeon did an xray and then immediately said i needed a CT scan. I am really nervous waiting to "see what it might be" .....

I had a few loose teeth after braces but I could understand that because they were under a lot of pressure. They tightened up after a few weeks. In your case, if they don't tighten up it could be root resorption which is shortening of the root. I wouldn't worry though. These things are usually common during orthodontics.
