I can clearly understand you. I see your post just now. I know what it feels like to avoid going outside. I'm trying my best to fix these problems but my surgeon and ortho don't even care. If your surgeon and ortho are willing to help, i think you should talk to them. And i recommend you to go to another surgeon for an opinion.
for me, my ortho last day, he was really rude to me and avoided talkin to me. So i ended up really sad with a terrible result.
They avoid revision surgery as much as they can because it's hard to do. They offered me a genioplasty which is not helpful itself.
