sarpe and double jaw

#1 Post by minky »

Hi everyone
Well! I m a 37 year old female from the uk who has class 111 discrepancy with a large anterior bite and also a very narrow upper jaw..
I went to see my surgeon,Professor Piet Haers from Nuffield Health surrey, who told me i will firstly need surgically assisted rapid palatal expansion followed by bimaxillary surgery and bone onlays for sinus lifting and further contouring, i will also (following the opp) have all my top teeth (the ones that are left) removed as they are not strong and gums receeding bone loss ect and then have 6 implants placed in for a full fixed bridge....
WOW just writting that blows my mind...

Has any body else had ANY of the things done??? also has any body had Professor Piet Haers as their surgeon?
Also trying to get some done on the NHS (heres hoping) my surgeon is willing to do the NHS work still but it all depends if i can get the funding
Thanks in advance :)
