Jaw Surgery in Marfan's Patients?

I have Marfan's Syndrome and would like to know if any other members in the forum have the condition and have undergone jaw expansion surgery.
If so, please tell me about your experience.

Hi,
I do not have Marfans, but have a less severe connective tissue disorder. I called one of the leading centers on connective tissue disorders (over at Hopkins) and they said that I could experience more bruising than usual. However, I actually never bruised at all, everything during surgery went fine... However, I know it was certainly a concern for me. I would suggest calling an expert on CTD and seeing what they have to say.... Good luck!
