Discolored Tongue

I had sarpe surgery on my top jaw on 12-27 and noticed this past week that my tongue has a brown color on each side i'm no longer taking any medication for the past week or so. But find this very bizzare has anyone experienced this or anything similiar. Its freaking me out.. i brush my teeth and water pik my mouth alot.

my tongue got pretty nasty a week or so after surgery too. It was a little brown and i could not stand it! from what i found online its because of all the medications, and mouth rinse the doctor had you on. try a salt water rinse and eat a lot of yogurt, the probiotics seemed to work good for me.
