Genioplasty After Bi-Max?

Hi There,
I am wondering if anybody out there elected to have a genioplasty after they had double jaw surgery?
As a refresher, my surgeon worked up my case with and without the genioplasty. I didn't see the final projections until I was in the surgical holding area on the day of surgery. At the time I didn't see any benefit from the genioplasty, and I elected not to have it done. I wasn't drugged yet, but I have to admit I didn't have a clear mind when I made the decision. I had to use every ounce of energy to stay there and not run away from the hospital, so the thought of more cutting was something I think I avoided without looking at the situation practically or realistically.
Well, fast forward 6 months post-op. I went back to my OS today and did a workup on a sliding genioplasty. The prediction model was APPRECIATIVELY better, and now I really want to have the genioplasty done. I don't feel that my current results are "bad", but they certainly appear to be better with a genioplasty. I think that it's possible that I didn't get as much movement as we thought we might from the double-jaw surgery, but my bite is pretty good and my smile looks good so I have to assume that things were moved in the proper way. My surgeon always said that modeling might call for a large movement, but that doesn't always mean that's the right approach.
Anyway, has anybody else been through a genioplasty "after the fact"? I know I'll have swelling, bruising, and all that fun stuff, but I was told it would be NOTHING like the double-jaw surgery and that I'd be fully recovered in 2 weeks. Also, no restricted diet but perhaps liquids/soft foods only for a couple of days.
If anybody has done this I'd appreciate your thoughts on a "genioplasty only" recovery, and if you felt that the procedure made your final outcome better.
As always, I appreciate everybody's thoughts and insights.
Regards
