#1 Post by dannym 1980 »

hi all just wondering if there is any one that has had anteriour open bite surgery on the nhs, i was meant to get braced up 3 weeks ago but thay have changed my appointment to aug 28th  .im mostley intrested to now how the surgery changes the way you look and talk :? my open bite is 10mm,and the only teeth that touch are the molars right at the back of my mouth, this is causing me to talk with a slurring type of lisp, before i had an open bite i could talk perfectley do you think i will be able to talk properly afta surgery, because apart from the ortho saying i need surgery this is the onley reason im going through with it.cheers all
