pain due to swelling

#1 Post by agentzero »

I am about 5 weeks post op. I have a lot of swelling on the right side inside my mouth. It's right around my joint, which is causing a lot of pain and keeping me from eating.

Does anybody have any suggestions for reducing this swelling?? I

'm desparate now so any help would be much appreciated.

I've been taking advil religiously. My left side feels perfect, but the swelling inside my mouth in my right side is just so extreme. My OS says theres nothing wrong just swelling, so atleast i have the comfort for that.

swelling

sorry to hear about the swelling.

You could also try putting arnica cream on your skin on that side. I've been massaging it on my cheeks before bed and it seems to be good.

Also, are you getting enough exercise? The ciruculation will be good for you too.

Other than that, cross your fingers and toes and hopefully one morning you will wake up without the puff!!!
