who has a similar case to me Overjet / anterior overbite? 7mm or so with braces then bottom jaw surgery

so i can get an idea of the stages i would go though?

would be a great help to me.

My issues were similar. I had an overjet of 5mm which has been brought down to four with brace. I also had a SARPE, last March to widen my arch and palate. I go in for upper, lower, and genio on the 24th to correct my sleep apnea issues and make my occulusion perfect! YOu can follow my journey on my blog if you wish, I post lots of pics so if you go back to last February you can see where I started and where we are now.

Hi kerry,

my story is very similar to yours, ive seen your pictures, and like you, i had a clear space between my jaws, when i had a closed bite i could still stick my tongue out clearly though the space.

i ve been wearing braces for 2 years and 2 months, i had lower jaw surgery to bring my bottom jaw forward 6mm (two months ago), and i have recovered fully with no problems.

my original overjet was a horrid 13mm! and the braces did a good job to fix most of the problem, but the surgery is necessary for a complete fix.
