impressions and rough date 4surgery 2moro

Ive got an app tomorrow for my impressions for surgery, and im abit nervous, i dont like the impressions at the best of times and this will be the 1st time with the braces on.

and im guessing that doesnt make it any better fun?!

After the impressions are taken its back to the hospital a few hours later to meet with the ortho and surgon to find out when the surgery will be

ive waited for this day to come (im one of those people who has to know when things might happen) but am actually now bit nervous as it suddenly seems very real!

Then its a rountine ortho app for an adjustment etc, so big day for me tomorrow i guess.

Hang in there! You'll sail right through your impressions, I know.

Don't forget to write down your questions and don't be embarrassed to refer to your list in front of the consultants!

I had impressions done with braces on about a month or so ago and it really wasn't that bad, just a bit messy after but nothing major.

Hope you get your date, i'm sure you're excited, i would be!!

I think I had my impressions 2 weeks or so before surgery. I think they like to keep the time in between as close as possible so the surgeon knows exactly what he's dealing with. The impressions weren't that bad..they were really sticky tho..they were kinda hard to get out and all the gunk gets caught on your braces, but they let you brush afterwards. Nervous is normal..I was down right terrified lol. You will be fine and before you know it, it will be all over and you can just worry about recovering

just got back from my adjustment and now no when my surgery will be.......NOVEMBER havent got an exact date yet app that will come in the next two weeks.

impressions went ok, to be honest they were not as bad as i remembered them, either that or the technique was just better this time.

Adjustment wise, i had both wires changed to thicker ones and 2 power chains put on. Im pretty much ready for surgery just have a couple of teeth that need tweaking.
