RPE touching one side of palate

#1 Post by SleeplessinSeattle »

Hi,

So I had an RPE placed on December 20th, and it has felt like I have something stuck or just touching my left side palate. I finally looked closer today and realized the entire expander looks crooked. It seems like it’s sitting closer to the left side. I have been trying to get into the ortho for another issue since I went on the 20th to no avail (doesn’t answer phone/no call back). I’m just worried that it’s going to expand to far to one-side, if it hasn’t already.

Should I be concerned?

Hi Sleepless,
I've never had the "pleasure" of an RPE but did do a quick search of the term, linked here (hopefully): search.php?keywords=RPE&fid%5B0%5D=13
Best of luck to you.
