Drinking coffee with Damon clear

Hey everyone,

Just got Damon clear braces 2 days ago and I am really scared of drinking coffee because of staining.
I drink everyday coffee in morning and can't start the day without it.
What do you recommend?


I thought maybe to drink coffee before brushing my teeth at morning.
Or drink coffee and then wash my mouth with water.

I had Damon Clear for 18 months and drank coffee every day without immediately brushing and without ever having any staining.

The only staining I ever had was to a clear powerchain which I had for a few weeks.

The glue might stain just a little bit though. I have Damon metal and I'm a heavy coffee drinker (~5 a day) and my teeth are definitely yellower where the glue is (and they got whiter when I had a bracket change. But you have to be very close to notice, or have very specific lighting.

I have Damon and they are as clean as the day they were fitted. I think the Damon are quite good for not staining.
