Anyone move from damon to damon clear?

#1 Post by NPmetalmouth »

My orthodontist said that we would talk about getting my braces off in two weeks during my checkup. However, my mandibular midline is off and doesn't seem to be moving with the rubber bands. I do want them off, but would want my midline to be aligned better and would therefore need to keep them on longer. I am thinking about asking for damon clear brackets on the social teeth if I need to be in braces a few more months. Has anyone done this? Would it be worth it?

Somewhere in the past I recall reading that variances of a few mm or so are not really noticeable to others, so if appearance is the issue it might not quite the issue you perceive it to be.
Congrats on approaching the finish line!
