Refused debonding today because of new Covid-19 policy

#1 Post by Gladysp2 »

I was on countdown to today when after 14 months I had my debond appointment. I have ceramic top and metal bottom. When I turned up today they said my debond wouldn’t be happening and told me that the NHS guidelines say...
“Evidence is still emerging about this disease and as a precautionary measure and to reduce exposure of staff and patients to infection we are advising avoiding all aerosol generating procedures wherever possible”
When they have to polish off the bracket residue with the machinery this is when the aerosol effect is generated. I wondered if anyone else is in the same position as me? I am devastated, it was the one thing that I was looking forward too at this time. Feeling very sorry for myself.
