3 years after debracing : a definitive result

#1 Post by Lovespain5 »

I have been debraced for 3 years now so I can say that my results are definitive. So I just want to talk a little what to do after the treatment, to keep your teeth how they were the day of the debracing. Firstly : wear your Essix retainer and clean very precisely as well the Essix as the fixed ones (these are the types I have). Secondly : visit your orthodontist each 6 months. Thirdly : make some reeducation of your tongue and your lips (by yourself is better) to allow a better adaptation to your tongue and your mouth to their new position. And lastly : check regularly how look your profile and your face shape. I used to do it when I wore my elastics and I keep on doing it even after the debracing. Now I stopped wearing my Essix for months and the stability is here. Here my last photos.
