Hi! I got top braces about 3 months ago. Recently, I have been noticing white stuff on top of my brackets. Iv'e brushed many times and it does not come off. I used a toothpick and it came of, which is good! :) It resembled "scrambled egg" slime. I just want to know what it is and if I can stop it later. Is it food?

It's probably plaque. I have that too, and always had to made sure I brush around the brackets with an interdental brush.

Get a water pick! They work great for hosing off brackets that brushing doesn't get.
