This horror story came to my attention today. I feel so sorry for this guy, but at least in the end he got the smile he wanted. I just really feel bad that the end result was veneers. Glad that he shared his opinion and review of Smile Direct Club on YouTube! Would anyone like to comment on this?

Interesting video; as you mention in your reply, Lynn, he needed to consult an orthodontist, not a general dentist. I don't think he mentioned the word "orthodontist" at any point in this rant and seems not to grasp the difference. Thomas Gessel provided the comment about the issue of veneers and the loss of lateral incisors (he sounds like a professional) so perhaps his woes are not yet over. He quotes the general dentist in Charlotte as saying that 25% of SDC patients end up having problems -- which is criminal neglect in my book (note: I am not a lawyer, just like throwing out inflammatory terms from time to time).
Even when he realized early on that he would not have a happy ending, he persisted -- and refused a $200 buy-out. So to some extent, he owns part of the problem.
