Running out of rubber bands

#1 Post by lizziebeth1028 »

My next Ortho appointment is in 4 days. I will run out of bands by the end of the day today. I'm not able to stop into the ortho office before my next appointment in 4 days to pick up more. Also...it's too late to order some off the internet. So looks like I"ll be rubber band free for about 3 1/2 days. Will this set me back? It's only a few day?! I'm getting down to my last few appointments before de-brace and I hate to delay it! I've been SO good at wearing my bands!

It might set you back but in a miniscule way. Call your ortho office and proceed at their discretion. I personally would maybe not change them as often to preserve them and try to stretch it until tomorrow, but if impossible, 3 days of no wear don’t seem too bad. But of course, call your ortho!

Call your ortho and ask them to overnight some more rubber bands.
