The life with powerchains.

#1 Post by Heartofdarkness »

I have double, silver grey powerchains. Yesterday I had a spicy, tomato-y dish and you probably already know where this is going to end... with me in neon yellow/green coloured powerchains. Oh, no problem, I just have this REALLY big and important life changing job interview tomorrow.

Off to brushing like a maniac.

I have silver powerchains too, and I find that they stain more than silver ligatures, but the staining does go away after a day or two!

Try swishing a 50% solution of hydrogen peroxide -- should help. Best of luck to you!

That's good to hear! It already looks better from yesterday. It's just so ironic, I haven't had much problem with staining before and off course this has to happen with such an important thing coming up!

Thanks, I will remember to next time, and I'll just rock my neon chain this time. 8)

Once I had a super stained powerchain right before a hot date so I removed it myself, went on my date and got it replaced the next day at the ortho. They were really understanding about it, impressed that I could do that myself and we had a nice chat about how nerve wracking first dates are
I don't condone this behaviour but it's an option and not the worst that can happen ;)
