Is it possible that my upper arch/palate is a bit narrow? (Picture)

It’s not at all as narrow as others I have seen and maybe it isn’t narrow at all? Still I have a buccal crossbite, is it possible that it’s too narrow even though it doesn’t look very narrow? Maybe my lower jaw is very wide? (I had to convert the picture to black and white because it looked gross in color haha.)

As you can see my teeth are not crowded but could that be only because I had two teeth extracted? Maybe widening would have been a better option than extraction to begin with? I like the to have my palate widened because of the crossbite and some other issues (like breathing properly through my nose) but I’m afraid that it’s considered too wide to be widened. Maybe makeing it wider now would create too much space since there’s no crowding?
