Braces Are Off!!!!

Im thrilled to have them off, the only bad thing is that theres a small gap between 2 of my bottom teeth; they have noticed it at my Ortho office (said it should close within a few days and did more impressions to alter my retainers) and if it doesnt close they will put on buttons and a chain to close it (they will check how im doing in 3 months as part of 2 years of after treatment care that is included with everything else)

Also the retainer thing they gave me with 2 fake teeth on it is extremely tight feeling; more uncomfortable than my braces have been in a long time.

But it makes it look like im not missing teeth.

Hey T-B, Congrats they look good, I imagine you are quite happy! I'm a bit envious, I recently learned I'm only about 2/3 of the way done. -P

Well; in a way im about 2/3rds the way done as far as time goes and about half way there as far as money goes.

I still have 2 Dental Implants to get; which will probably be around $6000- $8000 total and take up to 6 months or more.

When im out i wear a "Flipper" which makes it look like i have a full smile; but it makes it hard to talk a little bit (sort of like a lisp); at home i just wear a clear plastic retainer on top; i wear my bottom one basically 24/7 (except if im eating or brushing my teeth).

Well, the largest part of the overall treatment plan is completed! Getting there!!

Thanks.

I found out i actually have more of a balance on my flex card for this year than i expected; so i will start with over $1300 without any cash; and then in January i will get another flex card of $2600, so without actual cash i will have nearly $4000 in assets to go towards the 2 implants i will need.

It should be easy to finance the rest of it over the course of the 6 months or however long the treatment takes; longer if need be.
