Midline question

#1 Post by erin5550 »

My son and I had orthodontist appointments at the same time and I missed exactly what they said about what they're doing his next appointment. They did say both of our appointments would be lengthier than normal. My son said they were doing something to activate his midline... Does anyone know what this consists of??? TIA!

It might be that he's going to have to wear elastics from his next appointment?

Thank you for the response. Neither of us have made it that far into treatment yet so I wasn't sure. He's only on phase 1 of 2 so I wasn't sure if elastics were even part of phase 1.
