No molar bands

No molar bands

Has anybody on here not had molar bands fitted at there brace fitting ?

I don't have any molar bands. My second to last uppers are braced with metal brackets, as well as the second to last and last lowers. The rest are ceramic. My oldest and youngest who have had braces that far back in their mouths also didn't have any bands.

I'm glad. I've heard horror stories of getting those put on.
Braces for 18 months/4 days.

Buccal tubes are fairly common. I've got molar tubes on top and buccal tubes on the bottom, mainly because they couldn't create enough space on the bottoms to bands in.

The only issue is that the wire occasionally pops out of the buccal tubes which doesn't happen with the molar bands.

I don't have them either. Just regular brackets and then nothing on the last teeth in the back.
