Creating space extraction and ipr

Im just confused about creating "space" when i was younger i had 4 extractions to create space and teeth aligned perfectly.

5 years later i had very minor crowding yet the 6 month smiles dentists said I NEED TO DO IPR to create space in my teeth so teeth can align...

This has left my front lower teeth looking way smaller it was done 3 times... my mouth has become narrow to.


Now this is BS to me because ive seen people get braces to OPEN their OLD EXTRACTION spaces to CREATE spaces and fill it with new teeth... because somehow the removal of wisom teeth affects facial features

So why would have i needed IPR done... ??to save time In treatment ?

Im just diaspointed that the teeth everyone sees is unatrractive now ... and my mouth feels very small from narrow archs after 6 month smiles....

plus i dont like the results so if i relapsed im assuming i would get big gaps in my teeth now

(I was misled into 6 month smiles thinking im getting fulll orthodontic treatment)

Actually after extractions my teeth were perfectly aligned but as i got older i got all the side effects of getting extractions, such as sunken in face, lips became smaller and less fuller.

I never knew that until i saw the side effects of extractions as i always wondered why my lips became so small etc

i look my like my mum and her lips and jaw are nicely developed she never had braces but she has slightly crowded teeth but 100% strait
