Idk what it is, but lately my bottom lip got really dry and keeps trying to completely split in the middle, I've been using Chapstick, but either I needs to use this stuff 24/7 or find something that works better.

I suspect it's due to a combination of the time of year that it is and having to put an elastic on for my midlines because it see,s worse every time I wake up, and then it's about the same the rest of the day.

Omg... My lips have been so dry as well since i got my power chain on. You should look for a really intensive lip cream. Chapstick is not working for me either at this point.

I have been using chapstick mostly, not sure it helps me at all. I think I am gonna try good old Vaseline.

I started using the EOS (Evolution of Smooth) lip balm (the type you buy in little egg shaped containers), it works so much better than chapstick

I use coconut oil and a Nivea lip butter combo at night. The two of them together make my lips so soft. and the coconut oil helps soothe them if there sore from during the day. plus the coconut oil can be used for other things too.

Carmex is probably your best bet. The likes of chapstick and Vaseline aren't usually absorbed and just coats your lips ,whereas Carmex has Salicylic Acid which sheds dry skin and is antibacterial. Glad it's not just me suffering with the dry lips ,didn't think it would have anything to do with the braces as they don't make don't make contact with the dry areas.

I used Lansinoh nipple cream on my lips. I know, i know...laugh it up LOL! But it really works! It has lanolin which helps heal the dryness on the lips.

Try burts bees honey chapstick. It works really fast and its 100% natural. Always keep chapstick with you. Also exfoliate your lips sometimes when youre brushing your teeth. Use your tooth brush.
