It's official! They're on!

Got my top braces on this afternoon!! I've been waiting since I was 14 year old for this. (I'm 40 now). The bottom ones will go on in 3-4 months.
So far, they feel REALLY weird. And I made a terrible mess trying to figure out the wax....other than that...so far, so good. Wahoo!!

It's exciting isn't it? It's funny because when I had braces as a kid, I never used the wax... ever. I suppose I was more resilient or less-bothered by such things. At any rate, I've been ripping through wax this second time in braces.
