Getting my braces off next Monday (hopefully)

I started with an open bite, crossbite, and underbite (edge-to-edge). My treatment plan was a compromise because I didn't want to have surgery, but my bite has turned out pretty good... not much of a compromise at all. For the past month, I've been wearing an elastic for a crossbite at night only (just to help keep it stable), and over the past week it seems like it's actually creating a crossbite on the molar next to it. As of today, I've decided to stop wearing the elastic and see what my ortho thinks on Monday when I come in for removal (or not!). If it doesn't happen, oh well. What's another month? I'm still excited nonetheless.

Oooh I hope it works out!! As far as I know, you're one of the only people on this board who's had braces longer than I have (currently, that is), so I definitely share in the eagerness to get them off!
